The Army

The British Army is responsible for defending the UK from external threats, supporting humanitarian and peacekeeping missions abroad, training and developing its Soldiers and Officers, and assisting civil authorities during national emergencies.

With over 70 roles across seven distinct career streams, the Army offers a wide range of opportunities to suit different interests and skills. For example, a Cyber Engineer works in a cutting-edge, tech-driven environment focused on advanced communications systems, while a Chef role is ideal for those who enjoy cooking in diverse and dynamic settings.

In addition, the Army offers over 40 apprenticeships ranging from Level 2 to Level 4, allowing individuals to earn while they learn and gain nationally recognised qualifications.
