At Slaughter and May we also take a different approach to time; there are no set billing or time targets. This means that our lawyers are free to work collaboratively, so that they can concentrate on what matters most – the quality of the work and client service.

Our six-year Solicitor Apprenticeship Programme is open to school leavers across the UK and is designed to offer you the breadth of experience and training needed to become multi-specialist, equipped to advise on a broad range of legal matters. During the programme, you’ll have a dedicated supervisor for each rotation who will provide training and opportunities to get involved in real projects and deals. You will also be assigned a peer buddy who, alongside the support provided by our Early Careers Development team, will set you up for success.
